Guests arrive on Friday evening at 4pm, settle into your accommodation, which is a beautiful countryside bed and breakfast down the lane from my farm. At 5pm I will collect you from the accommodation and bring you to my newly refurbished studio for snacks and a welcome drink.  We will celebrate the weekend with a cast on party and receive  exquisite gift bags filled with yarny goodness, amongst other things.

Dinner will be served at 7pm. It will be freshly prepared with love and attention. After all, I believe that sharing a meal on the first night is an intimate experience where guests have the opportunity to get to know each other. After dinner we will relax by the wood burner, chatting, knitting, crocheting and of course enjoying delicious home baked cake.

Saturday morning after breakfast I will collect you from the B&B and bring you to the studio for a morning of yarn dyeing fun. Learn different types of dyeing techniques on yarn supplied by me which you get to bring home at the end of the weekend. (All materials provided)

Lunch will be freshly prepared for us.

After lunch you will have the opportunity to make your own chunky throw. The perfect knitting or crochet project for chilly Autumn days when the dark draws in far too early. (Yarn and needles will be provided.)

Making a cosy throw. (Knit or crochet, whichever is your preference)

We will knit or crochet until dinner. Once again the food will be lavishly prepared. While we chat and make, we will enjoy wine and deserts to keep our hearts content.  This is definitely a 'slow' retreat. The emphasis is on relaxing, making and creating a cosy warm glow, through company and delicious meals, to ward off Autumn chills.

Sunday morning after breakfast, join me on the farm for more time to indulge in mid morning tea and cake and working on the weekends projects.

A light lunch will be served and farewell is at 3pm.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy, please join us.
